Designer Meredith Fisher started her career by selling her own one-of-a-kind designs at Los Angeles boutique Satine, where they immediately caught the eye of fashion insiders such as Rachel Zoe and the Olsen sisters, prompting Fisher to launch her first collection, WAYF, in 2006.
More than four years later, she continues to produce designs that is consistently fresh and fashion forward. Fall/Winter 2010 marks the launch of Charles Henry by Meredith Fisher. The Charles Henry collection, named after her grandfather, is a tribute to the man who Fisher credits as one of her early supporters. Fisher’s special bond with her grandfather, who was a women’s ready-to-wear manufacturer, led to her interest in fashion.
For Fisher, the ideal Charles Henry girl follows the runways so she is current, but never “trendy.” She is sophisticated and fashion forward; her clothes are a reflection of her charismatic personality.
