In 2010, entrepreneur Kieron Hurley decided to tackle a gap within the menswear market that he found unfathomable and set out to create a luxury underwear collection with design, quality and contemporary culture at heart. Hurley sought out to comprise undergarments to match the care and attention that the sartorially inclined man gives to his outer wardrobe.
Based in London and manufactured in Portugal, UNDER is produced using only the finest premium quality cotton waffle with mercerised and marl jerseys mixed with chambray and light twill. The collection combines knitted and woven fabrics to maximize durability and retention of form, giving scope for exploration of texture and color. Taking style name inspiration from American Rock Band, Steely Dan, The UNDER collection features short boxer briefs, long boxer briefs, long johns, short sleeve tees & grandad shirts with names like the “Walter” short, the “Parker” long boxer brief and the “Victor” boxer short.
Details within the collection include covered buttons and discreet branded size labels that can be unbuttoned. Some of the body styles are knitted to contrast woven plackets and collars, while other styles display welt chest pockets and woven waistbands. Colors featured throughout include red, blue, grey and ecru.
