Co-founders Sammy Abdella and Holly Hikido main goal when creating Sammy Ethiopia was to provide creative employment and a solid market for work in Abdella’s home country. Since 2008 when the company was established the founders have employed over 200 employees throughout the country, and the collection has been a favorite in stores around the world including Barneys New York.
